EXERCISING DOMINION
Text: Eph 1: 3 - 6
INTRODUCTION
Dominion is part of God’s covenant with mankind. God: The father of mankind blessed Adam and Eve and in this dominion covenant, He delegated authority trustees to mankind to act as trustees and stewards.

God’s dominion covenant defines man in the garden of Eden Gen 1: 26 – 28
In the beginning, the default settings for mankind is Leisure until when Adam and eve broke the covenant and the settings changed.
The rebellion of Adam moved God to disinherit Adam and all his covenantal heirs. Now we have 2 families in history:
Disinherited Sons
Inherited sons by adoption


Thank God for Jesus Christ who gave us spirit of adoption to access our dominion again Rom 8:15
WHY DO YOU NEED TO EXERCISE DOMINION?
To maximize you inheritance:
God as a good father left inheritance for us. Psalm 13:22, Eph 1:3-6
Each generation supposed to leave inheritance for next generation. Inheritance is a tool for exercising dominion. G has given us all things to enjoy in order to exercise dominion in all facet of life. He gave us power to create wealth, wisdom to rightly apply knowledge, revelation, understanding.. Eph 1: 17 – 21
To Sustain Dominion:
Dominion is like a system that you need to keep running. Failure to run a system continually will definitely result to failure mode. David nearly lost his dominion when he failed to keep dominion system running if not for God’s mercy.
Let’s understand the fact that to whom much is given much more is expected. Luke12:47 – 48. You must be faithful and fruitful with the little God has committed into your hands. Win souls, serve God and always explore your inheritance and other resources to dominate.
